Ms. Petersen is an Associate of Miramar Capital focused on investor relations. Ms. Petersen also serves as the company’s office manager.
Prior to joining Miramar Capital, Ms. Petersen was an Executive Assistant at Imperial Capital, a full-service investment bank advising middle-market companies. Ms. Petersen assisted Managing Directors with executing mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises in the security, defense and real estate sectors.
Previously, Ms. Petersen was the Grantee Coordinator at Innovation Accelerator (IA). The mission of IA is to promote the nation’s economic competitiveness in the global economy by promoting our nation’s innovation. IA is the private side of a public-private partnership with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and focused on commercialization, intellectual property, and venture capital.
Ms. Petersen coordinated communication between grantee recipients, NSF directors and capital partners within a large portfolio of high-tech start-up companies, as well as executing events at prestigious universities across the nation.
Ms. Petersen received her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska in 2008.
