JOSH MESNA HAS OVER 12 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE AND CAPITAL MARKETS
Mr. Mesna joined Miramar Capital at its inception in 2017. He leads Miramar’s residential acquisitions and investment strategy, focusing particularly on the build-to-rent sector. He is also involved in the acquisition and management of the firm’s special situations investments.
Prior to joining Miramar Capital, Mr. Mesna was a member of the real estate team at Canyon Partners, an alternative investment management firm. While at Canyon Partners, Mr. Mesna focused on value-add and opportunistic investments. His experience spanned across both debt and equity strategies, placing senior loans and preferred equity primarily for ground-up development projects.
Previously, Mr. Mesna was an Associate at Imperial Capital, a full-service investment bank advising middle-market companies. Mr. Mesna helped to execute mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises across a variety of industries, specializing in the gaming, lodging, and real estate sectors.
Mr. Mesna graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
