Miramar Capital Completes Acquisition Of 1545 Wilcox Avenue In Hollywood

Miramar Capital in a joint venture with the principals of the Relevant Group announced it has completed
the acquisition of 1545 Wilcox Avenue, the former home of the Hollywood Citizen News newspaper. The
property is a unique 3‐story office building totaling 49,000 square feet and is located in a developing
area of Hollywood, CA nestled between the recently developed Dream hotel, Tao restaurant and future
developments which include the Selma Hotel, Thompson Hotel, and Tommie Hotel.

The art deco building was designed by architect Francis D. Rutherford and constructed in 1930 as the
production headquarters for the Hollywood Citizen News. Los Angeles‐based Colony Northstar provided the acquisition financing, with a portion of the loan
proceeds to be used for capital improvements and leasing costs.
