Peter Eichler

Mr. Eichler is a Chief Operating Officer of Miramar Capital and is responsible for leading the firm’s industrial acquisitions and investment activity. Miramar Capital is a privately owned, commercial real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition, repositioning, and development of industrial, residential, and special situations investments throughout the United States. Prior to Miramar, Mr. Eichler was a Managing Director of Investment Management at Colony Capital, Inc. where he was responsible for the identification, evaluation, and consummation of new investments, primarily in North America. At Colony, Mr. Eichler led the formation of new strategic businesses and sourced, underwrote and executed numerous large transactions on behalf of the company’s public balance sheet, private investment funds, and externally managed mortgage REIT. Prior to joining Colony in 2013, Mr. Eichler was a Research Analyst at Aletheia Research and Management, Inc. in Santa Monica, CA, where he researched potential public equity investments for the firm’s multibillion dollar client base primarily via long only, large cap equity strategies. From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Eichler worked in the Investment Banking Division of UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Eichler received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Princeton University.
